Home Staging is the art and science of marketing a home to it sells at the best possible price in the shortest possible time. The science is the skill and knowledge required to master the craft. The art turns skill into style.
It is my job as a professional home staging consultant to educate the home seller on what buyers want, and then guide the seller through the process of giving buyers what they want so they will pay top dollar. The process includes de-cluttering, identifying and scheduling repairs, professional cleaning (house, windows and carpet), neutralizing (painting and de-personalizing), improving curb appeal, and, finally, the creative step, which is creating the right impression and feelings that make buyers fall in love and feel themselves owning and living in the space. Sounds like a lot of work and it is!
Lights, flowers and music are great for showing a house, but that is NOT staging. Staging requires an objective and professional assessment of a house's strengths and challenge areas and offers solutions to help buyers fall in love with what they see. This requires more than just flowers and music to achieve--it requires my exclusive Game Plan--Plan of Attack!
